Thank you, Beatles!

We chose to make a blog about The Beatles because we think that they're not only a special band, they're also the base of every pop band and the rock/pop music. Their songs are known in everywhere and they're still successful.
We have never been to any of their concerts, because now they're not together and, unfortunately, John Lennon is dead, but we know that Paul McCartney does concerts and we would like to go in one of these.
Since we were young, we have listened to their music and we have loved them. Our parents also loved them when they were about 20 years old so they've got most of their CD's.
For the vidios we have seen about them, we think they were magnific people, really funny and cheerful, and they really felt the music underneath their skins, we mean, they didn't want to be famous or rich, they made The Beatles because the music was their passion and we think that the world must thank them for being our idols for so many years, and for composing those great songs. So... thank you, Beatles!

The Band

The Beatles was created in 1957, and it was an english rock pop band from Liverpool. The band split up on April of 70's.

The band's members:
John Lennon (Liverpool, 9th October of 1940 –New York, 8th December of 1980). He was one of the singers, the guitarist and he played the piano and the harmonica. He also composed most of their songs.

Paul McCartney (Liverpool, 18th June of 1942). He played the bass, the guitar, the piano and he was also the second vocalist, so he sing most of the songs.

George Harrison (Liverpool, 25th February of 1943 - Los Ángeles, 29th November of 2001). He played the bass, the guitar, he did the chorus of the songs, he played the ukelele, the mandolin, the sitar and the piano.

Ringo Starr (Liverpool, 7th July of 1940). He was the drummer of the band and he composed some songs of the band. He sometimes did some chorus.
